El Observatorio is a space for creation and training specialising in auteur photography and visual narrative: A space for creation because it develops and promotes photographic projects that seek to address contemporary issues from multiple disciplines. A training space because, for more than ten years, we have been offering a complete, very close and individualised training that delves into different aspects of auteur photography. And a space for creation and training because, above all, El Observatorio is a point of convergence between disciplines and authors; students and teachers; professionals and organisations; individuals and collectives that seek to learn, reflect, share and create ‘from’, ‘from’ and ‘with’ images. El Observatorio is articulated around a table: square and without hierarchies; always open to new formats, people and ideas.
