Peter Pflügler, winner of the XI edition of Art Photo Bcn, is a visual artist with a career marked by emotional depth and the ability to convey personal stories with universal reach. As the winner of the previous edition, he has an exhibition space at the XII edition of Art Photo Bcn for his project *This Is Not The Right Time*. This initiative began as an investigation into the traces of a well-kept family secret. Peter Pflügler revisits the trauma of his parents, their places, objects, and memories, to find it within himself. His body always knew it. This is no longer a story about a suicide attempt. It’s about the impossibility of secrets, what we share when we hide. It’s about the pain inflicted by love, about the complexity of silence, and the inexplicable sadness of a child. In his own words: “Mom, Dad, this is your trauma, wrapped in countless colorful blankets, which you unknowingly handed to me in an embrace of love.” An address to his parents that materializes the intergenerational dialogue around a painful episode in the form of images.
