La Sindicalista gallery was founded just two years ago with the mission of discovering, exhibiting and promoting emerging art from Extremadura, presenting a fresh vision of the gallery concept that highlights the good work and love that is put into the work. La Sindicalista is distinguished by its commitment to the artists and the community of Cáceres, establishing ethical practices and a strong involvement in contemporary art education. The gallery seeks to transcend regional boundaries by making room not only for local artists, but also for talents from other regions, thus promoting collaboration, synergy and collectivisation among them. They are committed to providing a space where art can flourish and where both emerging talent and experience are celebrated.

Atthram explores in her photography not only his physicality, but also her emotional world. The camera became her confidant, capturing the essence of her deepest feelings. During her training period in Madrid Atthram discovered the therapeutic power of photography in dealing with neurodivergence. For Atthram, photography is not only an art form, but also a tool to explore and give voice to the emotional complexities associated with mental illness. Through her work, she immerses herself in the human experience, capturing the inner struggle, vulnerability and resilience of those facing mental disorders. Each image is a visual testament to the raw and often ineffable emotions that accompany these illnesses.

Her work not only seeks to raise awareness of mental illness, but also to foster empathy and understanding for those who face it. As well as using this concept, she seeks to represent the concept of the fantastic and the magical as a way of bringing light and visual evocation. Through her art, Atthram offers a window of hope and connection, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, beauty and humanity can still shine through.
