La fotografía de Alex Domènech (Barcelona, 1986) entra y explora lugares fuera de lo común, los límites, a la vez que lo íntimo. Le interesan las historias que emanan de lugares heridos, del paso del tiempo y de aquello que está cicatrizando. Crea universos a través de un lenguaje que se construye desde ese punto en el que se encuentran, se mezclan y se separan las técnicas, las poéticas y las identidades. En sus últimos proyectos, ha madurado un discurso en el que las historias se cuentan desde la intimidad de lo vivido, hacia nuevas perspectivas.
Actualmente combina encargos con la docencia y proyectos personales.
Alex’s photography enters and explores places out of the ordinary, the limits, as well as the intimate. He is interested in the stories that come from wounded places, the pass of time and what is healing. He creates universes through a language that is built from that point where techniques, poetics and identities meet, mix and separate. In his latest projects, he has matured a discourse in which stories are told from the intimacy of the lived experience, towards new perspectives.
He currently combines assignments, teaching and personal projects.
