One of the novelties of Art Photo Bcn´s seventh edition is the special international view that we want to share with current photography. We have asked Pablo Lerma, author and editor, to perform a search of galleries of the international scene that can perform the situation of the sector. Galleries that work with authors of medium and settled career from which we can take the pulse to realities far from us geographically. Five galleries will be the ones selected for this section and among them we can now introduce you to four from countries as different as Belgium, USA, Switzerland and Spain.

Created by the sinologist Alex Lebbink, SinArts Gallery (The Hague) has more than ten years of experience working in and with the world of Chinese Art. SinArts has grown organically from a online community to a physical space to present art and share knowledge about Chinese art. Its objective is to represent a new vision of contemporary art from the Far East, and especially from China. A world of art that often remains subject to cliches and uncertainties. SinArts represents a group of artists based on their artistic merit and ability to speak a universal language, with their Chinese heritage as common ground.

RUBBER FACTORY is a young gallery located on the Lower East Side of NYC since 2016 and focused on emerging artists. Exhibits conceptually challenging works from a diverse list of artists that encompass media from video art to paintings and photography.

From Laussane (Switzerland) we will come the Galerie Heinzer and Reszler that bets on artists at the beginning of their career. Most of them are under 40 years old. They come from almost all parts of Europe, there is even a clear taste for artists established in the French-speaking part of Switzerland for the recognized excellence of their art schools.

Alarcón Criado, contemporary art gallery of Seville, will participate for the first time in Art Photo Bcn. Founded in 2002 by Carolina Barrio de Alarcón and Julio Criado, it specializes in European and Latin American contemporary art. They give priority to curatorial projects and artistic proposals of an innovative and experimental nature, creating a platform that favors collaboration with the actors involved in the arts and the promotion of strategies that enrich the relations between culture and society.

These are the four spaces that we can unveil from the Solo Project and that you will be able to know in Art Photo Bcn both for its stands and for the round table and activities that they will develop. There are already a few days left to continue adding galleries to our list that expands each edition. Do not miss the opportunity to present your proposal.
