ART PHOTO BCN is a Photography Festival that includes a Photo Fair for the activation of the artistic circuit and the incursion of new creative values, bringing the works of new authors closer to the general and specialized public. Our goal is to approach professional and amateur people the work of emerging photographers and the cultural agents that represent them. Towards this point we develope all the activities of the 6th Edition of Art Photo Bcn from May 3 to 5, 2019 in Arts Santa Mònica, one of the best locations of the city at the beginning of La Rambla. This new location allows us to grow as an event, consolidate in the city as well as ensure the influx of national and international public.
We believe in the relevance of photography in the contemporary artistic production, that’s why we focus all ours activities on this. Often, the majority of projects and works that have internacional significance, haven’t the platform’s support, as have reported lots of emerging photographer. With our multifaceted event, we want to get the people involved in contemporary photography, making this festival a model and hoping that could become a point of inflection in artists’s careers and be useful to canalize their projects. Our event support the emerging creatives and try to be a showcase for the next works.
